Fire Danger - Arts and Crafts

Attention: We got this set for our daughter, she decorated it and when it dried we put the batteries in the battery compartment. The LEDs were NOT lit and the battery compartment became dangerously hot. After trying to fix the problem we removed the batteries and cannot use it as a flashlight as we are concerned that it could pose a fire hazard. We have contacted the company and hope they can help resolve the issue. I will update after hearing from customer service.
