All the benefits of grilling without the headache!

Works great. Bought a used grill with grates on the grates. Don't worry - the mat hides this and leaves grill marks. I will never grill directly on the grid again. No fire, no cleaning heavy grates, no messy grill. Just bring the carpet into the kitchen and clean it. I typically use the rug about a dozen times before it gets so dirty I can't clean it properly.
