Difficult to make and uncomfortable

These ribbons look fun and are relatively easy for my 10 year old to make. The problem is how they tell you to tie them up. They hand you a thin wooden stick and expect you to weave the ends back into knots that are already tied and tightened. It was almost impossible for me and very frustrating. I don't understand how a child can do that. We ended up trimming and melting the ends, but both solutions left a large, bulky stain on one end that was too uncomfortable for my son to wear. I would suggest skipping this kit if you don't want to struggle with things.
