This thin foam tape helped reduce noise on my dashboard. I wish this band was cheaper as it seems a bit overpriced. This was very useful for noise reduction and I have used it in many applications. Even making things like my office chair silent by putting duct tape on metal joints. Absorbs noise and works great. glue is enough. I wouldn't trust it much, but I tend to use it where the parts meet. So glue doesn't matter. It was also difficult to get it out of the box because the tape was stuck to the inside of the box. Haven't found a thin foam alternative yet and this has worked.
