The amplifier was purchased for 6290in the summer of 2022 (this is for posterity) not for the purposes of improving sound, but for safety, because. the previous radio tape recorder died (more precisely, its DSP processor) for unknown reasons, but suspicions fell on a short circuit in the standard wiring. It took almost a whole day to connect a new radio and amplifier. Pulling cables "by the mind" takes a lot of time. By evening I was already enjoying the sound, but my joy ended after I started the engine. Terrible pickups, especially from the generator! And the next day I had a march of 1050 km. That night I slept with the howling sound of a generator in my ears. The instructions on this matter say: lay the RCA cable in another place, away from the power wiring, and everything will be ok. And I, like a fool, climbed again to disassemble the interior in order to stretch the cable in another place, but this, of course, did not help. "By air" also threw, all the same, the pickups remained as before. Further more. To eliminate noise, the following were ordered: 1) linear noise suppressors (2 pcs.), Ferrite rings (10 pcs.), 3) a new, more expensive RCA cable with a good screen. Only the noise suppressor helped, but at the same time the sound became like from a cheap Chinese speaker for 3 bucks, it’s completely impossible to listen to this. The reason turned out to be very banal and it is an earth loop! For those who don't know, be sure to google it if you are going to install an external amplifier. In short, it is necessary that all devices (in my case, this is a radio tape recorder, an amplifier and an active subwoofer) are connected from the same source. That is, if your radio tape recorder is powered by standard connectors, and the amp is directly from the battery or the mass is taken from the nearest bolt to the body, then that's it, you've arrived! You will have to cut the wire and pull everything from distributors to all devices, otherwise you will not be able to get rid of the loop. As a result: after the 3rd run, everything worked fine, but it was not possible to completely remove the background, you can still hear the generator when the sound of the radio is turned off. I put 4 points for the fact that the sound did not get much worse, but I didn’t notice much improvement either.
