I like the camera (got it in blue) but I sure don't like it. Image quality is great and it takes great pictures without a flash (as others have mentioned). It's not so small that it's difficult to carry, but it also easily fits in a pocket. The rubber grip on the side is great - you can really hold it even when you're moving - and it also has a strap - so if you REALLY drop it you must have tried it. One of my main complaints, which I've noticed from others, is that it's very noticeably slow, especially when it's on. If you're hoping to grab it quickly to capture a more fleeting moment, you'll be disappointed. Also, the zoom control is VERY POORLY LOCATED - it's a bigger problem than how slow it turns on. It's on top of the camera, nowhere where your fingers (or thumbs) are unless you have very unusual hands. Without much use, you'll probably have to stop, GAZE, and adjust the zoom - it's very difficult to use while recording. I'd probably recommend you consider a different product, although I've been happy with my previous two Cyber-shot cameras. Unfortunately, this did not come close to the two.
