I bought this large double zip handbag/clutch for my mum and also out of curiosity to see how 'big' this block is. It looks "rugged" overall, including the metal zippers. good piece How much space does it have? First, the #1 zip pocket fits 2 of the following combinations: 1 THIN (non-regular) checkbook (or similar sized card) and/or 1 smartphone. At this point, the zipper is "adjacent" but works fine. There might still be room in the first pouch for keys and lip balm (guys). But no more than that, no zip load. Second, pocket #2 with zipper fits 1 THIN checkbook (or card) in 1 pocket, bills in another, receipts in 3. and of course the expected 7 card slots + 1 ID slot. While I may be wrong if I leave it at that, I don't see how this device can be a "wallet" and hold more things than what I've already mentioned. Finally, this unit offers a third compartment (pictured) outside of the 2 zippered compartments that uses a pair of magnets to keep the flap closed. Unfortunately, these magnets are on the same side (and just behind) the credit card slots - rather than the third pocket being placed on the opposite side of the wallet - so semi-oops! But since today's cards use chip 1 before the outdated magnetic stripe 2, this design oversight may not be a problem. The workaround is to simply place the swipe cards (i.e. the cards you swipe at the gas station) in the *outermost* card slots in slot #2. This is a fine and durable unisex wallet. Enjoy.
