Review on 🎧 Thrustmaster Y-300 CPX Rainbow 6 Siege Edition: Ultimate Gaming Headset for PS5, PS4, XBOX Series X/S, One, and PC by Matthew Loesch

OVERVIEW: Sounds good, fits well, mic works well but there are a few issues. They seem to be priced right for what they are and what they offer. BACKGROUND: My teenage gamer son is the primary user of these headsets. The following comments are mostly his own thoughts. WHAT I LIKE: - They sound good, fit well and others can hear me well when I use a boom mic. WHAT COULD BE BETTER: - Bass is mediocre; I wish it was louder. - The earpiece portion doesn't go down very far, so if you have a large head this item may be uncomfortable to wear - When plugging in the headset, the white and yellow wires (usually plugged into consoles) are dangling just because I can I don't use it because I play on PC. There is no way for me to remove the extra dangling cords without using a knife and cutting the cords. The manufacturer should have provided the ability to disconnect or simply remove the cables when not needed. CONCLUSION: In general, this is a good headset.
