I bought this Shark hair dryer because I couldn't bring myself to spend 2x on a Dyson and I love Shark vacuums. I have thick, medium length [growing] curly hair with large curls and I love this blow dryer and diffuser that comes with it. This is the perfect size to wrap around my curls without making them wiggle. And I also love that the diffuser [and all of its attachments] are adjustable, so as my hair grows I can lengthen the pins to accommodate more hair. I also like the 3 airflow and heat settings. When I first took it out of the box I was concerned it would be heavy with the diffuser but was pleasantly surprised to find it fairly comfortable to use. The only downside for me is that it's a bit noisy, but the diffuser allowed me to position it strategically so it wouldn't blow in my ear [I'm pretty sensitive to noise]. My hair actually felt less frizzy with this blow dryer/diffuser than with my very old bio-ion blow dryer and separate diffuser. Time will tell how this hair dryer holds up, but first impressions were very positive.
