I bought these to keep my kids from ruining their new iPads but I don't want to feel stupid using one of these kids cases. For around $20, they have excellent build quality. I was very impressed when I opened the box. They appear (although not yet tested) as if they could withstand a 5 foot drop. It's a bit thicker than I expected but it doesn't fit snugly in the iPhone box, unacceptably large. (Of course, it's a 10.2-inch iPad, so I doubt anyone would try to put it in their pocket.) The case fits very well, so don't expect to be constantly taking it in and out . It seems to have doubled the weight of the iPad. When you keep the case and iPad separate, they don't feel very heavy. The protective film does not blow either. It lies flat as if it weren't there. The only issue is that the cutouts (for the home button and camera) are offset by about a millimeter, not enough to cause any issues or affect performance, enough to make me suffer from a minor imperfection when viewing . Still an excellent buy. Highly recommended.
