I recently upgraded my computer and encountered a completely different video output setting. Because of this, I had an issue with the ability to replace the second monitor when working with video and graphics. I also wanted to be able to connect a second monitor to my old PC if needed. Like most DP/HDMI ports on monitors, these connections are not designed to constantly switch between inputs and outputs. The ability to switch between computers with this multi-screen unit also extends the life of my monitor. Device connected, everything worked without problems.
