I purchased this product while trying to take up embroidery and found it very therapeutic for the most part. However, it takes some time to get comfortable or figure out what to do. In each pack (there are 3 of them) there are threads, needles, machines and a bag with instructions. The instruction pack will usually show you how many threads to use, what colors to use and where to use them, as well as basic pictures of the different stitch patterns you will create. For me, someone who had never minted before, it all seemed confusing. I didn't know what it meant to use "4 strings" (in case you don't know, there are 6 smaller threads in a big thread that make it up). I liked that they provided links to YouTube videos to help you embroider, but it didn't take away from the fact that many patterns' pictures and videos were difficult to understand. Once you got the hang of it, it was actually quite easy. The design is cute and relatively easy to understand. They provide all the materials in the kit and it's all very well organized. I could buy more embroideries if I can get used to everything! All in all, if you want to start embroidering, this set is a good start to decide if you want to continue embroidering.
