Cools milk great! Of course, I would not say that it is not noisy, but the fan makes a slight rustling . My old system unit is louder! Whether you need it or not is debatable! If every time after making a milk drink you have to put a glass of milk in the refrigerator, then when you purchase a Jura Cool control G2, you don't have to put anything away! Works from morning until evening (15 hours a day). When I bought it, I imagined a Jura Cool control G2 device with a radiator and a fan that cooled the "jug" of milk. But as I understand it, this is a real refrigerator using Cyclopentane.
