My son is on the spectrum. Every winter there was a struggle with wearing jeans/trousers. It's awesome! A pair without a zipper is ideal for children with autism who struggle with zippers. The inner lining is very thick, even if your child doesn't like the denim, he will never be able to feel it from the inside. My son actually wants to wear them to bed because they are so cozy and comfortable. They wash well but may take longer to tumble dry due to the thick interior. I usually dry them inside out, turn them over, and then toss them again for about 15 minutes. If you don't close the hem, they are slightly longer than other jeans in this size. If you're in doubt about the price, try a pair. We tried that and now we have 3 of them! The style isn't trendy and they look a bit chunky but they got my son into wearing something other than sweatpants and that alone deserves 5 stars! Thank you! what we tried and now we have 3 of them!
