I was driving around town and using my phone to keep track of all the bike related metrics. The problem was that my phone's battery drained pretty quickly. The solution was to get a special device that could track all the basics. I attached it to the steering wheel and called me. The screen is large enough to read while driving and control while driving. The GPS is accurate enough for the price. Speed and mileage are usually a bit different, but that doesn't bother me because I just want to get a rough overview. .I fell on tarmac a few times and it still works fine I think.
