*** Update 5/29/22 ***This little guy is still going strong. My only complaint so far is the silver finish on the basket has started to flake - the darker finish over the silver has peeled off a little. My suspicion is this was caused by the high temp setting on the dishwasher. I'd recommend washing it by hand to avoid damaging the finish.*** Original Review ***The machine is a nice compact size; I would not have expected much room for 4 qt, but I do think it would be sufficient to crisp up a bag of fries for 3 to have with a meal. It would fit nicely on a counter and has a nice design to look at. The power cable is fairly short as the product description specifies, though I don’t see it as a problem.I didn’t have much on hand to try this with initially, but I had some leftover onion rings and fries in the fridge that were a tad soggy. I popped them in the basket and ran them on the Reheat mode. They came out nice and warm with a little crunch. I was pleasantly surprised to see some of the grease had cooked off. I think running it on Air Fry would have given them an even nicer crisp. Having used some other air fryers by popular brands, I was expecting the noise of a small jet engine. This fryer is appreciably quieter than I expected, though that may have to do with heating a relatively smaller space than others I have tried.The controls are easy to use and straightforward. It automatically turns on when plugged in, and needs to be unplugged to power off. Not really an issue (and probably safer this way) but kind of quirky.Pros- Small countertop reservation- Easy to adjust time, temp, and pause/resume- Dishwasher safe basket and trivet make cleanup easy- Construction feels solidCons- Cheaper options available at this size- Doesn’t power off - need to unplug when done- Fairly short power cord
