The needle came in a cute box. As others have said, the pen is slightly larger than expected. But in reality it looks very nice. The whole pen is light and the connecting chain is thin. In the center of the crown is a blue stone surrounded by two crystal stones on each side. The crown itself is well made, but the smaller side painted blue makes it look cheap. It doesn't detract too much from the overall look of the pin when worn with the right attire.
