Embroidery pattern

My printed pattern doesn't look like the video. I'm a little mad because I bought this to practice shading. I could do it with the pattern shown in the video, but with smooth lines on my pattern it becomes more difficult to hatch. The instructions are also so bad, at least I basically already know what to do. I'm pretty sure the instructions say the wrong stitch style compared to the picture. I wouldn't recommend this as a first project for beginners.
