My very first Apple laptop. This is how a genuine laptop computer ought to look. I want to put some effort into it! The exterior of the casing has a pleasing texture, and when using the keyboard and touchpad, your fingers will feel as though they are moving on their own. I don't want to be disrespectful to the old Lenovo that still works, but after having a macbook installed on it, the buttons are different and the screen is different, and I want to swiftly close the laptop. Now, into even greater detail. 1. An extremely long battery life. As a general rule, I plug it in to charge overnight, and even after using it all day for work (Internet, office programs, and even some Python programming), it still has more than fifty percent of its charge remaining. 2. The processor is cooled using a method known as passive cooling, in which the fan is turned off. As a direct consequence of this, the laptop is totally silent! Also, and most crucially, there will be no inhalation of dust inside the enclosure. 3. There is hardly any heat. Only when I was working with Rosetta did I become aware of temperature. The knees do not get warm, as the surface is soft and suited for M1. 4. Gorgeous screen. In this regard, I have absolutely nothing to contribute. It is necessary to view the screen. As compared to the 13-inch HD screen on my previous laptop, this one is like opening a door to a whole new world. 5. A keyboard with a soft, short key travel and a comfortable profile (slightly concave under the finger). You are able to operate in any light thanks to the backlight on this very comfortable keyboard. 6. The touchpad is extremely lightweight, so using it does not tire the wrists or fingers; instead, they glide easily across the touch surface, and using it does not evoke feelings of melancholy for the mouse. Therefore, let's talk about where we fell short. 1. It goes without saying that I want more ports. Two USB-C ports are located on the side, which is clearly not enough. If you were to connect something like a USB flash drive, for instance, you would definitely need at least one USB 3 port. The adaptor is helpful (the advantage of having such goodness on the infamous site from the heavenly heap), but it is a burden to carry it with you wherever you go. 2. There is no guarantee that software categorized as M1 will be available. Even while the processor itself is certainly an example of brilliant architecture, simple tasks like installing numpy in May 2022 turned out to be quite an exciting adventure. But, move opencv to a later time, and do not forget to dance while playing the tambourine. 3. The Apple keyboard's unique dialect was frustrating to use at first. There are two periods and a dot in the 2022 key arrangement for the number row on the keyboard; this does not seem human. But I'm used to it now, and it's not that important anyhow.
