Bought a new spin bike for my garage and wanted to use an old pair of MTB shoes on the bike and they were cheaper with pedals and SPD cleats than boots alone that I found on the internet. They're not as easy to attach as my racquets are to my MTB, but it's a spin bike, so I buckle in once per ride, so it's not that big of a deal. I also adjusted the tension so that's not the case. It looks like the design of the pedal and how close the clamp is flush to the outer pedal assembly is causing locking issues. They hold up well and are solidly built and I trust them, which at this price point was a concern for me. o (I am 225). They're unevenly loaded, so don't stay in the bind for long and need to move quickly or they'll spin on you.
