I love these speaker mounts. They have a very low profile. Installation was very easy. I installed in drywall so I used some of my own drywall anchors that are rated at 30 pounds per anchor. You simply install the base and then the outer part of the bracket that holds the speaker just slides into place and there is a screw that holds it in place. Comes with multiple speaker connection options. The only complaint I have is that the instructions are all pictures and don't tell you how to do things. You have to figure out which speaker connection to use and then find the parts in your bags to make the connection. I don't know if I would put a 22 pound speaker on it but I have some fairly large 10 x 5 x 5 inch 8 pound speakers that feel very solid.
