I have a two drawer side filing cabinet and the top drawer never closes. It was brand new so I had to contact the company but I missed the time. We tried using spacers but it still opened about 4 inches. I was encouraged when I saw these thin taped magnets. After reading the reviews and asking a question I was hesitant but desperate. An investment! They are so thin that the drawer hardly sticks out more than when it is normally closed. I was afraid that the magnets are too strong and make it difficult to open the drawer or damage the drawer when opening and closing because it is not real wood and not very strong, but the magnets have perfect strength. I was also concerned that the glue wouldn't hold. Since the cabinet isn't real wood, I was afraid the screws would destroy the thin area where they were needed and possibly just pull out. It only lasted about 24 hours and only a few opens/closes but looks like the glue will last a long time, glad this annoyance is finally over! I think it's a great price. I only needed one set so I now have 3 extras and it's a good item to have with me when needed.
