I bought these FILA boxing gloves and a pair of boxing gloves for $150. Both pairs weighed 16 ounces and I honestly can't tell them apart from the expensive ones. My son and I bought them to box together. He used them and I use a $150 pair. My gloves have drawstrings to tie them tight and it has velcro. In terms of quality I can't tell how they differ and I can't tell why my gloves are $150 and these are $35. They look and feel the same. They hit me with the same. My hands match my father's, but other than that I don't see any difference. These gloves are a great workout, that's for sure. When we box and we're done, I'm sweating. I will buy mouthguard and head pad. When he blocks, he raises my hand up, which hits his head, and I block down, which pushes his hand down. We have absolutely no experience in boxing. I was just getting started when I ordered them but I can tell you whether you want to work out or just have fun, buy these because they are great. I can't tell these gloves apart from the more expensive ones. The bag that came with these gloves turned out to be a lot better than the ones that came with my $150 gloves.
