I bought two balaclavas for my sons (8 and 5 years old) to wear when playing outside in the snow. They liked the fact that there were cool skeleton faces, and I liked the fact that I didn't have two frozen kids. There is a clasp under the chin that allows the balaclava to be pulled tighter around the face, but my boys have complained that they block their view. It seemed to stay moderately tight to keep her warm and still have peripheral vision.
