My car was making a strange noise, so I decided to replace the belt tensioner and pulley. The DRIVESTAR product offered a perfect fit for my Ford Escape, and the build quality was top-notch. It made me feel like a true car expert as I installed it myself - until I realized that the sound was still there. After some investigating, it turns out the problem was with the alternator, not the tensioner. So while I can't fault the part itself, it didn't solve my original problem. Oh well, at least it looks good under the hood.
