I wouldn't count on it, but it's not too bad, especially for the price. It's not as accurate as a good lenstatic ground navigation compass, but close enough to general north. I wouldn't use bearing on this thing because it's not accurate enough, nor did I expect it to be surprisingly accurate for the price. I would say that most compasses of this size and type are not very accurate. Overall worth the money for the amount they give you and the style they add. Although I probably won't need them if I buy a new watch.
