Can't record motion

In August 2020 I bought a Lorex doorbell camera to replace my Zmodo camera. I wanted to add this camera to my already installed Lorex security system. The video and photo quality is crystal clear day and night. The problem is that there isn't enough movement to record 10 feet or more, especially when the sensitivity is set to 5 and the range to 100%. Reinstalled camera several times, does not help. If you don't approach the camera and sometimes it catches you walking away, it won't capture or record any motion.
