I've always wanted a pair of Chacos but the arch was too high for my flat feet. Finally, they came out with the Lowdown style. The arch is still there, but it's much lower while still providing support. I wore them around the house for a few days before going out with them. These shoes get more comfortable every time I wear them. I wear 8" or 8.5" shoes, I bought 8 and they are perfect. I ordered them after seeing the pair my son got. I prefer the wider strap that goes on men's sandals and might have ordered them for men's sandals if I found out, but that's a personal choice. they are great for that. I would recommend these shoes.
