This pillow was extremely uncomfortable as a pillow and I didn't like having to slide an arm under it when sleeping on my side. Because he was so tall, my hand was pressed against him. I'm tall (5'9) and this pillow wasn't long enough. I would have to use another pillow to put the rest of my leg and foot on it at the end. The material was very hot and I even woke up in a sweat with a sheet, a fan on and a cold house. Overall I felt clostrophobic or flat out with my arm stuck there and the pillow being so tight around my neck front and back. However, my 7 year old loves to sleep in it. This has certainly helped him sleep in his own bed more often as he feels more secure with the pillow walls around him. It can be adjusted with an extremely strong velcro strap in the middle, allowing you to move the two pads closer or further apart as your tummy grows. The material is not hot. I finally found something to help my back during pregnancy. Love it! The only downside is that there is no pillowcase, so you have to cover the pillow with a sheet.
