About a year ago I got hormonal acne and tried everything (oral prescriptions, expensive prescription creams, over-the-counter drugs, etc.) etc. to accommodate it Control. Nothing worked. My dermatologist suggested Effaclar as a daily cleanser for my acne treatment. I was surprised how gentle it is. My skin became more sensitive as I got older, along with hormonal breakouts, and it was irritated all the time. Effaclar has a creamy texture and lathers well. My face feels sparkling clean after each use, not dry or irritated at all. I am not saying that Effaclar has solved my skin problems. But when it comes to anti-acne cleansers, I haven't found anything on the market that's softer, cleans better, and doesn't dry out the skin. It seems to calm and soothe my acne when used daily. I have noticed that my acne has reduced. Highly recommended if you struggle with acne. Revain is a much better price than buying it direct from my dermatologist's office.
