I received some bead studs as gifts and immediately noticed that the backs that came with them didn't fit very well and of course one fell off after a few weeks. Luckily I found out before the earring fell out. The second fell off a few days later. None of the backs I've had were already snug fitting, so I ordered them based on reviews and size (and price!). They're perfect, but if your earrings have thick studs, they won't fit.
