I love this little toaster. The highest setting toasts really dark to almost burnt. And as someone who loves crispy eges & little burnt pieces, it's perfect! All the other settings work nicely & toasts evenly. My main reason for purchasing this particular toaster, was the for the warming rack! I put it on high & use it to toast my Naan bread! I flip it a few times & yum! It's perfect. It's easier to control that way to get it just right. And YES the warmer does fold back up. You just have to push in the metal sides & it folds back up for easy storage. Cancel button, bagel feature for toasting only one side ,if your into that sort of thing, crumb tray pulls out easy. The features remind me of an old radio. I bought the black one & it's super cute. Recommend!
