Doesn't fit best in furniture legs

So, I was very excited about this because I wanted to get this double chair off the floor. I appreciated that it required easy installation and no drilling. The fact is that the female screw did not penetrate the existing hole in the couch at all. And the screw attached to the new legs is too small to hold. The quality of the legs themselves is good and the color. But what the product claims doesn't apply to everyone. Update: The seller was helpful and very reasonable. I appreciated their customer service and the fact that they wanted to make things right.
