Buy if you like defective items

I don't like writing negative reviews, especially when there are a large number of 5 star reviews. However, I felt compelled as it failed not once but twice. This pack of 6 bottles was purchased for photo chemicals. More specifically, C-41 chemicals: developer, blix, and stabilizer. The chemicals were mixed then poured into glass bottles and left overnight. The next morning I put the vials in a container at room temperature (about 85 degrees) and started pouring hot water into them (102 degrees, the temperature required for development). Get up, it's going to take some time. So the bottles were left in the water to keep warm while I did other things. Maybe after 30-45 minutes I came back and the chemicals were now at an acceptable temperature. When I lifted the developer bottle out of the water, the entire bottom of the glass bottle (see photo) came off and completely peeled off. Perfect clean break, literally just sitting in the water. Apparently this caused the contents - a BRAND NEW developer - to spurt out the bottom and into the water the bottle was pulled from. Not only was my bottle broken, I also stopped buying chemicals. Luckily I had a supply of chemicals and an extra bottle to use up quickly or my pre-impregnated film would have been ruined as well. One of the lids is cracked and broken. It came out of nowhere as the bottles just stood there again. See also photo. I'm willing to ignore a bad or defective bottle, but having two defective bottles in the same batch is just poor quality control. I'm not advising you to buy it or not, I'm just sharing my experience with you.
