Our new all aniline sofa had worn white areas and it made the sofa even newer. This darkened the color a few shades, giving it a more even color but still retaining the skin's natural markings. It's not scratch resistant, but seems to hold up well to water. The texture or feel changed slightly at first, but as it settled and dried it softened again. We used half a bottle on our sofa. I followed the directions and applied in layers. It can be applied like a cream and does not absorb like wiping with a damp cloth. It was a smooth application and easy to apply evenly. Using a microfiber sponge will help. Overall, it made our sofa newer and better than before. Love it.
