- Made in China - Comes with hole punch and fitting instructions 'Genuine leather' is a legal definition, not just a saying. The part must be stamped to be legally designated as such. This is not a stamp. The skin looks like leather on the outside, but not on the inside. Although it has a slight leather smell, it can be imitated chemically very cheaply. Nonetheless, this is a very nice belt. Good rich, deep tone. The buckle is also very good. Dark tin tone reminiscent of battle steel. I think it's too dressy to wear with jeans unless you're Tom Selleck.
