Glad I ordered the extra large size on the recommendation of another reviewer. I usually wear the big one in shirts and jackets. I'm 5ft 11in, 185# and the size XL is just right for this vest. The vest is well made, the polycotton shell is a quality weight but not too heavy for summer use, and the padding isn't that thick. or soft, so that it can interfere with the installation of weapons. The mesh on the back and sides is more durable than the mesh on my Remington vest. I can't imagine a better price-performance ratio in the moderate price range.
