We already have a hanger over the door so we couldn't find a place to store our shoes over the door. We also have a shoe closet a few yards from the front door for the shoes we wear sometimes. However, there are expensive shoes that my family uses every day that I don't want to leave on the street to be stolen. We needed something economical that would fit right into the door frame without taking up too much space and this was the perfect solution. On the top shelf are extra poop bags for the daily dog walks, a face mask (required in common areas due to Covid), a small bottle of hand sanitiser and I also hang a dog leash over it. The rest of the shelves are for shoes that we wear often. While it wasn't difficult to assemble, it did take some time. Very light which makes it easy to move onto our patio, away from the door when entertaining guests, without getting hit by our shoes.
