I am a quality advocate and have many years of experience in pruning trees. Those are good lights. I usually prefer white light on wood. When I first saw the "white" light I thought they were too warm, but they look good on wood. The color setting is really good with rich colors. The other settings (12 or so) seem crappy to me, but the basics are covered. Bright enough. Enough light for a 7 foot tree. I wish the wire wasn't so dark - they stand out more than optimally, but on this pass. I can't speak of reliability. In general, 1 string works for wood, the brightness and colors are good. highlighted.
