I reviewed and bought/returned some bags for a trip to Ireland. This was a good size. It was a bit thick but that was due to the waterproof fabric, anti-theft materials etc. but the large zipper in the front pocket was a bit bulky and sticking out. The straps are stiff, bulky and thick, but I'm pretty sure they are for anti-theft protection. My phone just fits in my main bag and I don't have one of the larger smartphones so check the dimensions before you buy. My biggest issue for the lower rating was the waterproof gauges. I needed this because of the changing weather in Ireland. Well, on the 2nd day of our trip it rained and sometimes heavily. I tried to hide it but opened my bag to pay for something and found my phone and other stuff was wet. I think water seeped through the zippers. The product shouldn't be waterproof just because of the fabric. If water enters the bag through the top zipper, it is not waterproof. valve would be better. Think about your needs before ordering.
