I've never been one for ebay activewear--I generally will pay more for activewear because I want it to last longer. But I saw a few YouTubers review these shorts and had to give them a go! I got the 5" seamless in teal and the dark lavender (both a size 6 which I'm assuming is a small) and I LOVE both of the colors. They are muted, not bright, and perfect for someone like me who tends to wear a lot of black at the gym and is looking to introduce some color.Fit: size 6 was perfect for me. I am 5'5", 125 lbs. My waist is 25", my hips are 33". I have an average build and I typically wear a size S in activewear bottoms. The waistband is high rise, the shorts are a true 5" inseam. The hem of the bottom of each leg does dig in slightly on my thighs but I don't mind that so much. The waistband isn't compressive to the point where I feel like I'm wearing Spanx, but they also me in just enough. I honestly could wear these as lounge shorts if I wanted. They are not thick material and are very soft and comfortable. I also love that the back of the shorts has that V shaped seam to give a lil extra emphasis to the glutes ;)I would caution anyone wearing these to work out/run errands to wear seamless underwear because you can very visibly see the gusset on my underwear in both of the photos I'm including in this review. And lastly, I measured the inseam of my two pairs and found they are actually 6", not 5". Doesn't bother me but something to consider if you're looking for a true 5" pair.Workout performance: the teal pair held up just fine working out. The waist didn't roll down for me, thankfully! However, the legs rode up a bit in the same way a pair of denim shorts would after you've worn them all day. I didn't mind it at all! I did a quick and intense leg day when working out yesterday and sweated a bit; I could see some sweat around my crotch area BUT it looked more like a shadow than a pool of sweat. And the best part: both of these shorts are squat proof! I cannot vouch for the other colors, but these two most certainly pass the test.Washing them: After I worked out in the teal shorts, I washed them. No visible pilling or loose threads. I expect these to eventually pill in the crotch area over time; it just feels like that type of material.Anyone reading this, please take everything with a grain of salt as I've only worn/washed one pair once! I am also writing this review with my body type in mind and cannot suggest how these would fit or feel on someone with more or less curves than me! I definitely think for the quality and the price point they are worth a try. And I will update this review at a later date if I am still in love with them or wildly disappointed.******Highly recommend the seamless version to avoid camel toe******
