If you're trying to stitch directly onto baseball caps this is a must have. The only way I knew of to use a regular tire, which I learned from a YouTube video, was to put the stabilizer bar on top of the tire and then put the hat in the center of the stabilizer bar. This hoop allows you to attach the stabilizer bar to the hoop (with extra magnets) and then magnetize the hat to the hoop without trying to reach the corners. I have found that I can embroider a 100 x 100mm pattern. If anything is larger, the sewing foot will start to collide with the magnets and the fabric will not be even enough. In the attached picture I embroidered too high on the hat, but it turned out much better on the next two hats. Update: use glue. stabilizer and buy an extra set of magnets and it will work even better. Also, make sure you fully loosen the size adjuster on the back of the hat.
