I used to wear 'barefoot' shoes but over the years my feet have needed more protection. However, thicker cushioned shoes reduced my road feel and made running uncomfortable and less fun. These shoes are the perfect combination of cushioning and street feel. They fit wide in the toe box and are slightly higher in the toe box than most of my recent shoes. At the same time, they nestle snugly around the waist of the boot – in the middle. The heel is neutral, not too narrow and not too wide. I plan to buy a few more.
