I really wanted to like this thing, but unfortunately I didn't get any productive use from it. I tried this with 3 different SD cards of different sizes (64GB, 16GB, 2GB) and on 3 different computers (Pentium, Pentium 2, Pentium 3). All lead to the same result. The "Active" LED on the adapters will be solid when the power is on. Computers recognize the adapter and can communicate with the media. The layout and formatting initially work flawlessly. The installation of the operating system also seems to work without problems. As soon as the computer is disconnected from the power supply, e.g. B. If it is switched off, the contents of the SD card will be erased. Running a computer backup shows a raw drive. No operating system, no formatting, no partitions. This process was tested about 15 times on three SD cards and three computers. Part of me wants to try a different adapter to see if mine is broken, but another part of me wants to move on to a different solution.
