Press tofu once a week? Buy this!

Get rid of stacked plates, weights and books. It is much easier! I made a press out of two cutting boards and four bolts and have been using it for two years now. I wanted a better and lighter alternative. I've used this press two or three times. So far, so good! I let the tofu sit for about 30 minutes. I had no problem installing 16-ounce tofu blocks. I will say that it takes a little effort to lock both locks. This press also extracts a lot of water. I also find that the tofu held its shape better than two cutting boards.
