Review on 💻 SanDisk MobileMate USB 3.0 microSD Card Reader (Black) - SDDR-B531-GN6NN: Ultimate Data Transfer Speed and Versatility by Brent Shaeffer

The first alarm was when I looked under the card. Instead of being black like every other SD card I've seen, it looked like a green circuit board with a weird black square on it. The second red flag was MUCH lower than advertised read/write speeds (only 50-55 writes since reading in the mid 80's). The third red flag was when I tried to copy data from my old SD card to this one. I was able to download about 21.5GB of data on it before it disconnected from my computer. I then physically removed the card and reinserted it into the computer. Windows advised me to repair the hard drive, which I did. After that I go and try copying the data again and it unmounts as before. I've tried the same thing by repairing the hard drive, but this time Windows tells me it can't be repaired! Serious? Here's an attempt to get a good deal on Black Friday.
