The tool does the job. However, don't expect good hardware. It has burrs and castings everywhere. The tool can bend if you don't pay attention to the gaps. If you don't tap all the springs first to loosen the retainers, the tool will barely loosen them before it starts to flex. Again, it's good for the money and can be used to get the job done, but don't expect to be impressed with the quality or durability. In fact, I think that during my work on the BMW E46 M54 24 valve head I finished, the metal part that turns the screw must have been dropped on the workbench or the floor at least a hundred times. I cannot say that so much attention to detail went into the making and testing of this instrument. It would be so easy to improve this tool if they really wanted to.
