I specifically chose this brand for all its features, elegant looks, flush mount, quiet operation, easy installation, 3 speed reverse, remote control, dimmable. does not dim. My licensed electrician who installed the dimmable bulb said a different bulb might be needed or called the manufacturer as there could be a problem with the receiver or remote control. Bought dimmable bulbs from 3 different brands, both LED and incandescent, they didn't dim. I called the manufacturer and found that the remote and receiver were programmed at the factory. If there is a problem you have to pay to return both the fan and the remote as they can't send you a new remote or determine what the problem is, they just have to replace it. As a result I had to have an electrician come and remove the fan and I had to pay shipping to send it back to the manufacturer then I had to pay the electrician again to come back later and install a replacement BUT clearly no guarantee of the replacement would also dim. This relatively inexpensive fan costs over $500 with no guarantee of advertised features. If you want to dim the light, do not buy this product. It's quiet and beautiful, it's flush mounted, the remote control is easy, it works, but I could get it all by buying a cheaper fan that doesn't claim to be dimmable. Edit: The manufacturer also said that you can't get a second remote as each remote is individually programmed to the receiver. Make sure you never lose or damage your remote otherwise you will have to replace the entire fan to get a new remote.
