I wrote a scathing review on this listing within minutes of receiving delivery because like several other buyers, there was no hitch pin in my package. I called the company to bitterly complain about the scam they are doing to us and I was kindly approached by a representative who wanted to make things right. As we went through their list, I found an image that referenced a pin in the receiver. The tube was actually sealed with a decorative black information seal. When I cut it open, voila! there was a needle in my pocket and a keeper key waiting for me. The photo is what I saw first. I needed this as an increase, not a decrease. Removing the ball was indeed exercise in a power tool. I'm pretty sure it was blown away by the air. I have a set of 3/4 inch extension sockets I got from Harbor Freight decades ago that had the required oversized outlet. But it can be done with muscles. I noticed from the reviews that both of these issues have been reported before. At least for the pin, that's not really a problem.
