I am very happy with these, very soft. I put two of these together to make a 10 x 13, cheap as any other of that size of amazon, and the foam padding alone is almost as thick. Now of course this is a budget rug, not super dense with fibers, just enough to shown the backer, but it exactly as advertised. Not sure how I am going to clean it when the times comes with the long shaggy fibers, things definitely go in and don't want to leave. In the four weeks on my floor, I have enjoyed the softer material in my feet. But in a room that will not catch food, heavy traffic, or dirty shoes, and it should look good and feel great on bare feet for years. Seems perfect for a bedroom, or in my case a a living room, maybe a bath. Certainly not foyer, dining, or kitchen in my opinion.
